The “Yachtsman of the year 2009” was awarded on Saturday 20th to Leonardo Ferragamo by Yacht Capital. The presentation was made by “Yacht Capital” magazine in Venice and is in recognition of Mr. Ferragamo’s contribution to the yachting industry. This sixth edition of the award was made aboard the newly-launched cruise ship “MSC MAGNIFICA”, which has only been in the water for one week. The award recognises “Leonardo Ferragamo President of Nautor’s Swan and owner of Camper & Nicholson’s Yachting’. He is involved in many projects building yachts as well as developing and managing marinas. Leonardo Ferragamo is a passionate sailor who participates in many of the major regattas worldwide.
