It has been decided that Les Voiles de Saint Tropez will be cancelled from the official 2009 Circuit schedule for the Swan Maxi Class. The results from Les Voiles will therefore not count toward the overall scores for the 2009 Circuit. This year’s Swan Maxi Class Circuit will conclude at the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, 6 – 9 September, in Porto Cervo, Sardinia, which will provide the venue for the 2009 Circuit Prize Giving. The current entries for the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup include competitors that have been key features in the Swan Maxi Circuit since its introduction last year, such as Grey Goose and @Robas, along with some newcomers to the Circuit in the new Swan 90 DSK and Swan 78 Valkyrie, which are sure to add to the competition in the fleet.
